Course Description: Employment documentation comes in many forms, and this interactive course will assist attendees in utilizing various types to protect a company rather than put it at risk. A comprehensive guide to the use of handbook acknowledgments, offer letters, compensation plans, and written warnings will be provided including samples and examples of non-compliant documentation. The attendees will also be provided a hands-on presentation on drafting a performance improvement plan (PIP), preventing documentation missteps in performance evaluation forms, and reviewing and requiring correction of internal management documentation such as emails, texts, memos, and corrective action warnings so that the company can bolster adverse action decisions rather than heighten legal risk.
