Legal Risks - New: What the National Labor Relations Board is now prohibiting in the handbook - Critical Policy Changes: What should immediately be put it and/or taken out of handbooks - What employers are doing wrong with handbooks • Addendums or separate policies • Separate shadow manuals/policies • Agreements • Failing to include mandatory policies Modernizing the Handbook - Sample Policies addressing current issues - Hygiene/Odor - Gender neutral dress codes - Tattoos, Piercings - Civility - Attendance – Points or no points system? - Cell phones at work or driving NOTICE: Once the course has started the attendee will have 24 Hours to complete the course. After 24 hours the Attendee will no longer have access to the recording or the materials.
